Overview

Irakurle Digitala is an add-in for web browsers that reads the documents opened in them by making use of Orai’s TTS technology.

Challenge

Reading difficulties, such as dyslexia and all kinds of sight problems, can have a great impact on the education process of children. In the digital environment TTS technologies can be used to read texts and are thus able to help these children in their studies and in their integration.

Result

Irakurle Digital is an add-in for the Firefox and Chrome web browsers and reads out loud any website, office automation or PDF document. It works for Basque, Spanish and English.
