The aim of the AniMAM+ project is to use artificial intelligence to enhance the multimedia content management platform of Baleuko, an audiovisual production company and owner of the MAM platform. The system analyses the transcriptions of audiovisual content and automatically creates semantic metadata in Basque, Spanish and English. Overview
The aim of the AniMAM+ project is to use artificial intelligence to enhance the multimedia content management platform of Baleuko, an audiovisual production company and owner of the MAM platform. The system analyses the transcriptions of audiovisual content and automatically creates semantic metadata in Basque, Spanish and English. This makes it possible to organise, search, segment and exploit the content more efficiently.
Challenge
The main challenge was to describe and efficiently manage the large volume of audiovisual content available. Baleuko’s MAM platform needed to have the capacity to understand the meaning of each piece of content, identify the topics and entities, differentiate the thematic segments and create useful summaries, all within a multilingual environment.
Collaboration
It was developed in collaboration with Baleuko.
Result
We created the AniMAM+platform, which integrates AI models. This system is capable of extracting thematic descriptors, specific descriptors and nominal entities. It performs the thematic segmentation of content and generates automatic summaries of the transcriptions. These modules have been integrated into Baleuko’s MAM platform using an API connection. They enable automated content enrichment and facilitate search, recommendations, customisation and advertising segmentation.
