The main aim of this project is to develop and deploy an automatic translator to translate clinical tests from Basque into Spanish. To develop an automatic translator, neural perspectives will be used and special attention will be devoted to the following aspects: domain adaptation, terminology personalisation and gender agreement.

To develop an automatic translator, neural perspectives will be used and special attention will be devoted to the following aspects: domain adaptation, terminology personalisation and gender agreement.

Challenge

This project will need to address the following challenges:
Translation of standard medical terminology.
Domain adaptation.
The proper management of gender agreement on the document and sentence level.
